Baltic College - FHM, University of Applied Sciences was founded in 2001. Currently there are approx. 250 students at Baltic College - FHM. According to our ethos as a private school, Baltic College - FHM offers study programmes with a specific and practical/vocational orientated profile.

Baltic College currently offers three FIBAA and state accredited dual Bachelor programmes

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Business Management

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Management in Health Tourism

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Hotel and Tourism Management

 

These study programmes all are combined with a vocational certificate from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Particularly for this reason they all have got a USP in Germany. Furthermore we currently offer a FIBAA and state accredited Master programme:

  • Master of Arts (M.A.) - Marketing Management in Tourism

 

According to these areas of research and teaching our main competence lie in Business Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Health Tourism, Quality Management, Intercultural Communication; one of our specialities is the combinations of vocational training and Bachelor study programmes (in cooperation with the local/region chamber for industry and commerce). As a University of Applied Science we follow a very practical and business orientated approaches in our daily work. Our university is also certified according to regluations and requirements of ISO 9001.

Role of partner organisation in the project

  • Promoter and contracted lead with EACEA; overall responsible for project implementation

  • Contract partner of all other organisations involved in the project

  • Leader of WP6 "Project Management" and WP7 "Dissemination"

  • Support to P5 in developing the "CUBITUS University Business Cooperation Model" (WP1)

  • Support to P4/P6/P8 in developing the "CUBITUS Senior Tourism Guidelines" (WP2)

  • Support to P2 in developing the "CUBITUS ISO/IEC Certification Standards" (WP3)

  • Support to P7 in developing the "CUBITUS Green Paper" (WP5)

  • Support to P7 in developing the "CUBITUS Green Paper" (WP5)

  • Publication and maintenance of project website www.cubitus-project.eu until at least 2020

  • Translation of all products and dissemination activities into GER

  • Printing/publication and distribution of all main materials and products in DE

  • Participation with at least one own expert at the CUBITUS training course in PT

  • Invitation of at least one external expert from DE to the CUBITUS training course in PT

  • Pilot implementation of the CUBITUS model in DE (in cooperation with at least 3 enterprises)

  • Development and implementation of all quality management activities for the project

  • Development of masters for the project flyer, the project poster and 3 newsletters

  • Organisation and management of all 5 transnational project meetings (hosting meeting 5)

  • Organisation of an dissemination seminar in DE

  • Organisation of a transnational dissemination conference during the final meeting in DE

  • Recruitment of 30 members for CUBITUS stakeholder pool from DE

  • Recruitment of 30 members for CUBITUS stakeholder pool at EU/international lev

  • Management of associated partner´s group and stakeholders fro DE for supporting the CUBITUS project activities by evaluation, dissemination and promotion support

  • Dissemination of project through E.N.T.E.R. network

  • Dissemination of project through own networks and media

  • Development of a project´s overall dissemination and exploitation report

  • Proactive participation at all evaluation/dissemination activities

  • Development and signing of Intellectual Property Rights

  • Sustainable usage/implementation of CUBITUS course and products in DE after the project has ended
